_Appearance-
_{Lapis Lazuli has light blue skin, medium-length dark blue hair, and a teardrop-shaped Lapis Lazuli on her back. She wears a blue outfit consisting of a knee-length flowing skirt with a downward-facing dark blue triangle, a halter crop top with an upward-facing dark blue triangle, and her feet are barefooted. When freed from her mirror prison, she was shown to have reflective, pupil-less, mirror-like eyes. When her gem was healed by Steven, she was revealed to have wings made of water, along with dark blue pupils.
_Personality-
While she was initially playful and friendly with Steven, Lapis Lazuli is very bitter and mistrusting towards the Crystal Gems, believing they care more about the Earth than other Gems.
She's generally inconsiderate and indifferent towards the human race and the planet Earth, as she used Beach City's entire ocean to create an aqua-vator to her "home". As such, she expresses a desire to return home, and doesn't wish to stay on Earth. Overall, Lapis is a passionate Gem who doesn't hesitate to fight anyone who stands against her, but is thankful towards Steven for letting her out of the mirror and then for healing her gem, though she might've felt some mild disgust at the way her gem was healed.
_{Gem History-}
Not much is known about Lapis Lazuli's Gem life, but it is assumed that she was trapped in the mirror by either the Crystal Gems or an unknown force. At some point, her gem was damaged. This impaired her magical abilities and perhaps her true personality.
_{Mirror History-}
As a mirror that her gem powered, she was an object that recorded all of the Gem's history and culture that the reflective side witnessed. She spent a long and lonely period trapped in the mirror with no one to talk to. Eventually, the mirror was discovered by the Crystal Gems at the Galaxy Warp and given to Steven by Pearl. When Pearl couldn't activate it, she assumed it was broken. Later, when away from Pearl, Lapis Lazuli slowly revealed herself to Steven by talking to him through the mirror's recordings.}
